He joined Principal International as Chief Risk Officer and then as Head of Financial Risk Management, where he was responsible for overseeing the group`s investment risk management, ALM, derivatives, stress testing, economic capital modelling and the US ORSA. Prior to his role as a Director, Carl was Head of the Insurance Industry Risk Management Consulting Practice at KPMG.
