The EJLS is an open access journal, which means that we make all articles on our website freely accessible and do not charge publication fees. We also require authors to make their research reproducible, including, where possible, by providing basic datasets to readers. If you have any questions about submissions, please visit our contact page. By submitting your work to EJLS for review, you agree not to submit or publish such work in other journals, volumes, platforms or websites for the duration of the review and publication process, regardless of its nature and nature. In the event that the submission is accepted for publication, you will be required to sign a copyright license agreement that provides limited exceptions to this requirement. The Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies (“IJGLS”) accepts unsolicited papers that address legal issues raised by globalization. Although the JIGLS relies primarily on symposia for its content, papers received through the submission process are an important part of the JIGLS and are peer-reviewed (double-blind) and considered for publication. To ensure that your submission does not end up in our spam folder, we encourage authors to send their submissions from verified email addresses. For most authors, this means sending their contributions from their institutional address.

For authors without institutional affiliation, this means that their personal email address has been validated by an online service. The Journal of Legal Studies in Business does not accept manuscripts published or those published elsewhere. Manuscripts may be sent simultaneously to other journals, provided that the author undertakes to inform the publisher concerned immediately if the work is to be published elsewhere. All manuscripts must be sent in Microsoft Word format, electronically only, to ExpressO, or by email directly to Editor-in-Chief Donna Pelham in dpelham@methodist.edu. The IJGLS is a unique journal because it is peer-reviewed and publishes only articles of a global nature. IJGLS takes an interdisciplinary approach to global legal issues, integrating perspectives from law, economics, philosophy, politics, academia and sociology to develop unique solutions to current legal problems. Communications focusing on the intersection of legal and academic disciplines with globalization, characterized by the movement of people, ideas and goods regardless of borders, are welcome. The Journal of Legal Studies in Business is indexed in Cabell`s Directory of Publishing Opportunities (in management and marketing directories), the Index to Legal Periodicals & Books, and via the ProQuest and Ebsco Host ABI / INFORM journal databases. The Davis Journal of Legal Studies is not currently seeking submissions. Our submission period for Volume III begins in the fall of 2022.

The JLSB also sponsors a “best paper” award at the Southeastern Academy of Legal Studies in Business (SEALSB) annual conference, which is typically held in early or mid-November each year, with submissions for the “best paper” award usually due one month before the conference. If you are applying for the SEALSB Best Paper Award at the annual conference, the subject line in your email should be: “SEALSB Best Paper Award”. If you are not submitting for the SEALSB Best Paper Award, the subject line in your email should be: “JLSB Manuscript Submission”. The Davis Journal of Legal Studies publishes articles on jurisprudence, defined as “the interdisciplinary and academic study of legal concepts, institutions, and processes.” The EJLS is particularly interested in contextual and/or interdisciplinary approaches to case law, but also welcomes well-written pieces of law.
