The CBA expects students to attend all courses, as this is necessary for academic success. Each instructor can set specific attendance requirements for their course. The professor is responsible for making the attendance policy clear to students. An instructor cannot expel a student from a class because he or she did not attend. It is the student`s responsibility to ensure that all courses are properly added and deleted within the published timeframes. The Department of Managerial Studies offers expertise in management, marketing and entrepreneurship. Our courses focus on hands-on experience, including working with real companies on live projects. UIC Business Scholars will be considered for this selective leadership program and, if selected, will participate in an honorary cohort and be considered for scholarships. Applicants must demonstrate an interest in an education in business or entrepreneurship. UIC Business Scholars is a selective leadership development program for high-performing and highly motivated students. The PixelPlex STEM Fellowship is offered to STEM, economists, and economists who write about the unusual use of technology in a selected industry. Incoming and bachelor`s students can apply. (Additional deadline in June) The Mobile Demand Innovative Minds Scholarship is designed for students who are majoring in business, science, engineering or communications and who are leaders in various aspects of their lives. Consortium for Graduate Study in Management Fellowships business administration students who have earned a bachelor`s degree; allows African-American, Hispanic, or Native American students to apply for MBA programs within the consortium (schools listed on the website) Intelligence Bank Digital Asset Management supports women interested in a career in marketing. High-performing students studying marketing, business, economics, or another area of computer science can apply for this scholarship. Annual contributions to scholarships of any size may be made to the UIC Business Scholarship Fund, which provides general support to undergraduate and graduate students who demonstrate academic excellence and demonstrate financial need. Students MUST review their final exams (with the correct catalog year) to find out which advanced quantitative skills course they can take.
Not all students have the opportunity to take all of these courses. Students should consult their academic advisor if they are unsure of their course requirements. No exceptions are made. The UIC Future Leaders in Business program is a free 5-week summer experience for aspiring high school graduates. The goal of this program is to introduce participants to the campus of the University of Illinois at Chicago and to provide comprehensive leadership development and career exploration programs while providing them with academic training in the core business areas of accounting, finance, marketing, and management. This program also includes a one-week housing component in UIC Housing. At UIC Business, our faculty of expertise offers concrete training to meet the challenges of today`s business environment. The scholarships are intended for current Hispanic students who specialize in international business, general business, economics, finance, accounting, marketing, public relations, communications, or sales.
